POPEYE features

Built by iconic Italian shipyard Overmarine, 28m POPEYE is a sophisticated Italian yacht with sleek lines and a sporty profile. An open motor yacht from Overmarine’s sought-after Mangusta 92 series, combining powerful performance with excellent stability and low vibration levels, POPEYE is powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M91) 16-cylinder 2,000hp engines and has an exhilarating top speed of 32 knots.

Designed to be a comfortable home away from home while cruising, the yacht’s interior features a neutral colour palette with polished wood panelling and light wood flooring throughout. A flexible and open-plan living space, POPEYE’s main lounge has ample room for entertaining with built-in dining tables and lounge seating for up to 8 guests. Aft of the seating area you’ll find a wet bar, while a wooden credenza separates the salon from the helm station.

Featuring over-large windows plus full-length sliding doors that connect the interior and exterior living spaces, the full-beam salon is flooded with natural light during the daytime while a retractable roof can be opened up to give you a fabulous view of the stars when cruising at night.

A stairway adjacent to the helm station leads down from the main deck to POPEYE’s guest accommodation which is located on the lower deck and includes a master cabin, a VIP cabin and two twin cabins, one of which also has a Pullman berth for younger guests. All of the cabins come with built-in storage plus ensuite bathroom facilities.

Designed to offer the ultimate outdoor lifestyle, POPEYE’s foredeck features a huge triple sunpad which can be partially shaded whilst cruising. A second comfortable sunpad can be found on the aft deck in addition to a built-in lounge area with a retractable dining table. Twin stairs lead down to a bathing platform which can also be used as a launchpad for toys and tenders.
