AEGIR features

Delivered in 2011, superyacht AEGIR is hand built by Carbon Ocean Yachts using the latest aerospace technologies. Her optimised prepreg carbon structure offers both high-performance when racing plus maximum comfort when cruising.

AEGIR is fitted with a high-modulus carbon rig along with a customized, wide Park Avenue boom. This allows for short-handed cruise sailing whilst delivering maximum performance for a rig of this size.

Winner of the International Superyacht Society Design Award, Boat of the Year 2011, AEGIR features a spacious modern interior which pairs an open-plan layout with a neutral colour palette and contrasting wood panelling/flooring.

Bright and open with a triple overhead skylight for maximum light, AEGIR’s salon is uniquely versatile with a rise-and-fall table to convert the formal dining area into a lounge space. Equipped with a full entertainment and music system, the salon opens into AEGIR’s professional galley.

AEGIR’s generously-sized owner’s suite is located amidships and features a double bed with a large overhead skylight and an Airplay entertainment system. Opening into a huge ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, the flexible cabin can be set up as a full beam suite or closed off using pocket doors to create a corridor leading to the VIP suite.

Ideal for use as a family yacht, AEGIR’s guest accommodation includes a VIP stateroom with an Airplay entertainment system located forward plus a twin cabin located on the starboard aft. Designed to offer the full superyacht experience, each of AEGIR’s staterooms come with an ensuite bathroom plus plenty of built-in storage space

Steps lead up from the interior to AEGIR’s flush decks which have been designed for speed and for comfort. A large cockpit table aft is protected by a retractable spray-dodger and sun awning and can accommodate up to six people comfortably for al fresco lunches in the sunshine.

At anchor, AEGIR’s large transom can be opened to create a generous sunbed area and bathing platform with a swimming ladder to provide easy access to the water when swimming or using her tender and toys. She also features a large aft tender bay with ample storage, as well as a hydraulic raising deck to provide easy access to the tender and toys.
