The best beach bars to visit around the world

Are you looking for new places to go ashore for a drink during your next superyacht charter? Then check out our quick guide to the best beach bars to visit around the world:

The Mediterranean Sea:

Steer clear of the crowds in St Tropez and head to Cannes to grab a drink at ZPlage, the place to be seen on the famous Croisette. ZPlage belongs to the mythic Hotel Martinez and offers a restaurant and bar overlooking the Mediterranean with live music from the resident DJ, concerts, and firework displays throughout the summer season.

The Caribbean Sea:

Whilst soaking up the sun in the British Virgin Islands, drop anchor in Jost Van Dyke and swim over to the Soggy Dollar, the island’s most famous beach bar. The Soggy Dollar is the home of the original Painkiller cocktail, a delicious blend of Caribbean rum, fruit juice and fresh nutmeg. According to the locals it’s best enjoyed on the beach whilst the sun sets…

The Indian Ocean:

The beautiful island of Mauritius boasts several beach clubs but the original and best is still the ‘C’ Beach club in the Domaine de Bel Ombre. With a prime beachfront location hosting 2 restaurants, live music from international DJs and poolside “love nests” for intimate soirées, there is something for everyone at this busy club.

The Coral Sea:

The On the Rocks poolside bar is located on a private island off the coast of Central Queensland, Australia and offers spectacular views set in luxurious surroundings. The bar is adults-only and has a chilled atmosphere during the day which heats up as night falls when guests can enjoy fire torches, live music and speciality cocktails. Drinks are served in the infinity pool whilst you lounge on a giant cushion or in hammocks directly on the beach itself.

The Pacific Ocean:

For a night to remember, reserve a table at Moonshadows Bar and Restaurant in Malibu, California. Located directly on the beach with a patio set above the ocean, you can hear the waves crashing as you sip your cocktail. The outdoor Blue Lounge bar features DJs and live music coupled with outstanding views and it’s the perfect place to enjoy a Californian sunset.

The Atlantic Ocean:

There are beach bars all over the Bahamas, but if you’re looking for a great atmosphere, rum drinks and live Caribbean music on white sandy beaches, make your way over to Nipper’s Bar & Grill on Great Guana Cay. Open every day from 7 am ’til very late, Nipper’s serves up frozen tropical drinks so strong you might just find yourself dancing on a table or going for a dip in one of the bar’s two pools before hopping into the infamous “Nipper mobile”, a water taxi provided by the bar to ensure you get back on-board safely at the end of the evening.
