What a Yacht Charter in Indonesia Has in Store

The Republic of Indonesia spans Southeast Asia and Oceania. With more than 17,000 islands to explore across nearly 2 million square kilometres, Indonesia is easily the world’s largest archipelagic state. Lying either side of the equator, the climate is almost entirely tropical.

Let’s take a look at ten possible highlights of a yacht charter in Indonesia:

  • Swimming in warm tropical waters (around 29°C in North Raja Ampat)
  • Spotting the planet’s largest lizard, the Komodo Dragon, which can grow to up to three metres long
  • Sensitively observing a range of other fauna within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Komodo National Park: sea turtles, macaques, dolphins, and dugong
  • Enjoying the entertaining, storytelling Balih-balihan dance
  • Scuba diving with manta rays and whale sharks from the island of Kanawa
  • Spotting birds of paradise on Batanta, Waigeo, and Gam islands
  • Being amongst arguably the most diverse ecosystems on planet Earth in Raja Ampat
  • Snorkelling amongst coral reefs, particularly striking due to the nutrient-rich seas, and how the strong sunlight filters through the clear water
  • Admiring the rugged mountainous outline and pink volcanic sands of Padar
  • Visiting one of the thousands of awe-inspiring temples in Bali

ORACLE Yacht Life

Draw up the blinds on your large, main deck suite, allowing natural light to flood in and illuminate the white sheets, wooden floors, and carved balustrades. Admire the view from the panoramic windows before stepping out onto your private terrace to take in fresh air. Relax on the generous sunpads or head back towards your luxurious ensuite bathroom.

Once you’re ready for the day, Chef will have a glorious breakfast prepared to fuel you for the good times ahead. Will you choose an adventurous scuba dive amongst some of the best dive sites our planet has to offer? Or a more relaxed approach with stand-up paddleboards, and the onboard masseuses?

In the evening, a range of choices are available to you. Head to shore on one of the two included tenders for the team to set up a stunning beach dinner. If you’d rather stay on board, admiring the sunset from the upper deck is hard to beat. Once night has fallen, admire the stars or wander back to your suite for a movie night, with a roll-down video projector. If you’d like to gather with others, the lounge has one too.

Your experienced cruise director will ensure that your yacht charter in Indonesia is one to remember for decades to come. ORACLE is an incredibly beautiful yacht, well-matched to the astounding views you’ll encounter during your yacht charter in Indonesia.
