MALAHNE Yacht Charter
- Camper & Nicholsons
- From €145,000 to €165,000 Per Week
The past comes to life onboard classic yacht MALAHNE. Built in 1937 by Camper & Nicholsons, MALAHNE comes with a fascinating history. She evacuated British troops from Dunkirk during World War II and once hosted Winston Churchill. Owned throughout the 1960s and 1970s by movie producer Sam Spiegel during cinema's golden age, she was a favourite of the Hollywood jet set and hosted Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly and Frank Sinatra. Today, MALAHNE has been meticulously upgraded to modern standards without losing the allure of her original design. She is offered as a truly unique superyacht experience.
Period interiors by Guy Oliver, interior designer of the staterooms at 10 Downing Street, are in rich woods including Argentinian burl, rosewood, ebony and mahogany, offset by ivory onyx and soft light silk details. Interior highlights include a traditional main saloon with bespoke chimneypiece, a piano, original Art Deco furnishings, a private dining room and a library. Alfresco dining is available on the main deck and the sundeck, which offers optional shading.
10 guests are accommodated in a flexible cabin layout to suit any guest group, including an owner's suite with private lobby, large ensuite and office. 1930s features and furnishings include a bespoke lighting system and vintage writing desks. Out on the ocean, explore in style on MALAHNE's 7.5m custom high-speed mahogany tender or have fun on the laser dinghies, paddleboards and waterskis.
