Vietnam is a country like no other, nestled on the tip of South East Asia, it combines lush rainforests, golden beaches, dramatic islands, bustling cities and a truly unique history. A luxury yacht charter from SuperYachtsMonaco is the best way to explore this country of contradictions and beauty; If there was one word to describe Vietnam it would be Vibrant.

A FEAST FOR THE SENSES
Vietnam is a culinary dream and true treat for the taste buds. Whether it's warming beef pho, the national dish, or Bánh mì, a relic of French colonialism that's often stuffed with meat, herbs, pate and greens, you'll never go hungry. What's more, the lack of oils and fat used in Vietnamese cuisine makes it incredibly healthy too.
While Vietnam has its fair share of fantastic restaurants, it's the street food that will create lasting memories. There's nothing like being sat in the street, on a plastic stool, tucking into a meal that carries hundreds of years of history in it. Hanoi, Hoi an, Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) and Hue are particularly famous for their culinary delights.

KAYAK HA LONG BAY
Famous the world over for its huge limestone cliffs and karsts, the UNESCO heritage site of Ha Long Bay is worth spending a couple of days at. It's a place that is undeniably special. Drop anchor and explore the reefs, waterways, caves and floating villages by kayak… don't forget the snorkel.
Nearby Cat Ba Island is almost entirely a nature reserve and biosphere. You'll find hot springs, trekking and excellent bars and restaurants to relax in.
A top tip: to avoid the backpackers and the tourist cruises, consider nearby Lan Ha Bay. It's almost a carbon copy of Ha long, but it's quieter and many of the islands boast pristine white sand beaches.
