The Great Sound and Scaur Hill

Enter the surprisingly deep water in the Great Sound and anchor at the protected Fort Scaur surrounded by high cliffs. This is the perfect place to test out some of the water toys due to the expanse of open water here. Take the tender to Somerset Island to pass under the smallest drawbridge in the world and past many historic wrecks. Hike up to the fort to get the best panoramic views on the island.
