HISTORY & ROMANCE IN THE ADRIATIC
Trimmed by verdant islands, lonely lighthouses and golden sands, the Adriatic Sea is rich with history and romance. A millennium ago, exotic silks and spices made their way from the Far East to Europe via the Republic of Venice. A cluster of 118 islands, today La Serenissima is scattered with elegant palazzi and criss-crossed by colourful canals. Across the Adriatics navy depths, Croatia lays claim to 1,000 sublime islands. Some, such as celebrity-studded Hvar, are favoured for their unrivalled nightlife. Others, like the Lastovo Archipelago, are virtually inaccessible except by private yacht.
To the south, Montenegro is an Adriatic gem in a sparkling sea. From the medieval city of Kotor to the luxurious Porto Montenegro marina, a necklace of pristine coastlines graces Europes youngest nations shores.
"There are few locations that compliment a charter like Krka Falls, Croatia. Young & old will love it. Transit a winding narrow river passage to the wide open, flat calm lake, before swimming in the freshwater pools"
"Wine tasting and gourmet tapas at the Bibich Winery, just inland of Skradin. A taste of the real Croatia. "
